Stripes is an 8-year-old brown tabby tuxedo gentleman who knows what he wants from life: a comfortable bed, a peaceful environment, and a human who understands that when he asks for pets, he means now.

When Stripes is in the mood for attention, he's not particularly subtle about it. He'll meow at you, rub against you, and make sure you're fully aware that an affectionate cat is currently going tragically unpetted. If his requests go unanswered? No hard feelings. He'll simply retreat to one of his favorite spots and enjoy his own company instead. Your loss, really.

Stripes is a loving boy, but he's not particularly interested in chaos. Loud noises and lots of commotion aren't his thing, so he'd likely be happiest in a quieter home without small children, where he can relax and seek out affection on his own terms.

In the lounge, he's developed a particular appreciation for our rope beds, which provide the perfect location for lounging, observing, and waiting for someone sensible enough to come over and pet him.

Stripes isn't looking for a nonstop party. He's looking for a peaceful home, a cozy place to sleep, and someone who appreciates a mature gentleman who knows exactly when he wants affection—and exactly when he'd rather take a nap.
